Sara-A Siri alternative from Cydia World

Who's Sara? Anyone knows?Your old classmate or your ex? LolNo,it's something else. It's a beefed up version of Siri and she claims of herself as meatier and sexier than Siri for we guys to drool on.Sara has the same Siri interface and it has got more command options than Siri.As the creators claim,it sits there in our iPhone and keeps on learning and gets customized to our accent gradually. It has also got customizable commands too. You have to add this repository http://isoftjsc.com.After adding search for Sara and do install.Check it out and share your experience with her. ;) It's been put on the test of time let's see if Sara is more seductive than Siri.

Spire working proxy

So it's me who was running around the virtual world in search of a Siri port and I came across two Siri ports.Siriport.ru and Spire. At first,I installed Spire and tried lots of proxies floating around the Internet and got pissed off.None of them were working and some of them were fake. They even crashed my iPhone and I don't know how. Then I came across a Russian Siri port named Siriport.ruI felt it as a legit stuff and so I ditched spire and embraced Siriport I tried it for around two weeks with no success. Then about 4 days bak I came across a site named '3 little pigs'.Just check that site here.3 little pigs spire proxyI followed the instructions and I had to reinstall spire.I was not that optimistic but just thought of giving it a shot. And to my surprise,Siri gave her first response at around 12 in the midnight.I was jumping in euphoria and I couldn't stop talking to her.She sung a bloody boring song to me.Told me a pretty boring story of herself. Siri was not responding well to my Indian accent and that was disappointing. It's up and running till yesterday and then I started getting that million dollar error message 'sorry,I can't answer your questions right now. Please try again in a little while.'It is still like that.I think that 3 little pigs server is heavily loaded now.But I'm happy.I could get a Siri experience in my iPhone 4.I'm contented.Guys,go ahead and check it out.

AirBlue sharing-a great tweak to enable Bluetooth sharing

So at first it's iBlueNova. Then came Celeste. Now it's another spring season for guys who are lamenting of iPhones impotence in filesharing over Bluetooth. It's AirBlue sharing. I had personally used Celeste and it's a big let down.It required complex set up processes and the transfer speed was also dull.It also came with a price tag enough to burn a hole in our pocket. That application seemed to be abandoned now.Now it's the time for AirBlue sharing. The messiah has born in flesh and bones. It enables filesharing at a whooping rate of 1.7 Mbps. You can share anything like photos, videos, audio files, notes, documents etc etc between Bluetooth enabled devices. irrespective of iOS/non-iOS world using AirBlue sharing. It comes with a price tag of 4.99$ but I think it's worth money. You can also add other repos from which a cracked version of AirBlue sharing will be availableCheck those repos by going to this link Cydia cracked apps repositories. So happy bluetoothing. It is supported till iOS 5.0.1 as per the creators claim.

Siriport-latest Siri avatar after Spire

Siriport-Introduction:-

Siriport has been doing rounds over the internet for the past 20 days. But unfortunately I stumbled across Siriport today only. It's a Russian version of Siri and I was wondering if Soviet Union is on their way to get back their lost glory by excelling in cyber world.

You have to go to a site named siriport.ru and you need to translate the entire page to english(lame english I should say). You are lucky if you ever had an experience with utter bad English.lol

You have to uninstall Spire to install Siriport.

Follow these steps:-

  • Go to cydia and add this repo http://repo.siriport.ru
  • Then search for Siriport and install. It takes around 20 mins to install.
  • Then download siriport.ru/crt1 (link available in siriport.ru) and install.It's a certificate.
  • Then reboot your device.
  • That's it.
My experience:-

I have never got it up and running yet as the site claims.Their website says that the server is 'online' but no luck.I repeatedly fired up siri but the response I got all the time was 'sorry i can't help you right now. Please try again after sometime.' That's it.

The creator of Siriport advises to never lose hope and keep on trying. He assures success if we keep on trying every once in awhile.(Only God knows if it's legit)

I will update here if I get it working anytime soon.

And I got information from somewhere that firing up Siri at around 5 AM EST will yield good results because it's at around that time, the servers are seeding Siri keys to random requests.

So request for a key by saying 'hi Siri' after firing up Siri at around 5 AM EST and try your luck.

Distinguishing feature from Spire:-

In spire, we needed a proxy host.We have to input a proxy host address manually to get Siri running. But in Siriport, there is nothing like that. It's just like 'plug and play'.

Footnote:-

Let's play with all these ports and tricks till a brilliant cracker comes up with a permanent solution.
Till then,it's hoodibabaaaaaaa for all pre iPhone 4s gadgets.

iBooks 2.0 Crashing in iOS 5.0.1-Corona fix

iBooks after updating to iBooks 2.0 got crashing and I was wondering why.

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling iBooks 2.0 again and again but failed all the times.
Then I learnt that this is an Apple trick to piss off jailbreaking community.Only those guys who have jailbroken their devices come across this situation.

So how did I got over this? It's just an easy work.
1.Go to cydia.
2.Download Corona 5.0.1 untether version 1.0-5 and install.

Reboot the device. Then check your iBooks 2.0 app.The trouble should be fixed and iBooks 2.0 crashing will be no more.iBooks start working again like a breeze.

A fight with Google Chrome

I am using Google Chrome as my default browser for 2 years now.
Earlier I used Firefox.

The attraction of google chrome was,it was system friendly, simple and really loads websites faster.

But since then,I have been experiencing a strange problem with it in the department of downloads.
Once the download starts, the downloading speed keep on dwindling.
Once it starts to get dwindling, the it's a point of no return.

The download speed falls gradually and eventually gets screwed up.
This strange experience was only with google chrome.

With neither Firefox nor internet explorer,I had this strange experience.

It's really a pain in the ass while downloading and the only work around I found is to use download accelerators like Internet download Manager.

Easiest trick to verify PayPal

Hey all, Today I'm sharing a trick to get your debit cards work with PayPal. Present situation:- Not even a single debit card being issued in india can be linked to your PayPal account. You will need a credit card. I myself was trying ways for a trick to get my card verified and yesterday I stumbled upon a trick which I think is the easiest and most reliable. What all you need:- 1.A PayPal account. 2.A debit card verified by Visa 3.An entropay account. How to do:- After creating a PayPal account, make a free account in entropay.com. This site is trusted and legit. Then you add your debit card number and security code. Follow the subsequent steps and you will be ready with a virtual credit card. You can load amounts ranging form 20USD to 20,000 USD. I loaded my virtual card with 20 USD because I wanted to play it safe. Then go to PayPal and click 'verify' button. In the required field add your virtual credit card number and CV and then submit. In the next step PayPal will deduct around 2$ from your virtual credit card. This is for authentication purposes and is refundable in 2-3 working days. In the next 2-3 days, check your entropay credit card statement and you can see a code being generated under the name of PayPal. Just copy that code and paste it in the required field in PayPal. Viola, you will be verified and now you are free to use your virtual credit card through PayPal. It's the best workaround to get around the PayPal restrictions in India as far as I know. Actually I still worry if my entropay account gets hacked but made up my mind to risk a 1000 rupees and it works beautifully. I can use this card anywhere over the Internet and it functions as a usual credit card. You have provision to destroy the card/make new credit cards. Its all upto you. I found this useful and just sharing my experience here. Hope you all will be benefited. Thank u.

Display shrunk to a corner

2 days back,I came across one strange experience with my iPhone 4.

After installing a couple of cydia apps,my screen went like this.

What I diid.

  • Rebooted iPhone in safe mode.
  • Then in safe mode,I rebooted again.
Problem solved!!!!!!!

Infinity Blade 2

I'm just writing down a game app review.
It's my first attempt of this kind.

Well.....

This game has got the best graphics.
Everything has been set up in minute detail. The background,characters,sceneries...everything.

This game has the best graphics in mobile gaming world.I really loved it.

What I liked:-

  • Graphics
  • Sound FX
  • Controls
  • Detail

What I hated:-

  • Very slow story progression.
  • Battle-you keep on swiping and that's it.Victory will be with you.No need of logic, nothing.Just keep on swiping and I hated it because I love games which demand logic and tactics.
  • It takes around 1 minute for the game to get loaded in iPhone 4.

So that's all.I just scribbled down something.Happy gaming time guys.

The file size is nearly 1GB.

Simplest way of setting up your own Spire proxy

How This Works

The way that this all works is quite simple. You will be using something called “SiriAuth”, which is basically your server. For this to work, you’ll need to grab the Siri authorization keys from a 4S which will need to be done every 24 hours. Beyond that, people can connect to the server through your IP address or, what’s more recommended, a DynDNS sort of solution (for example, FreeDNS). The DNS route takes your home IP address and masks it to a domain name for ease of use so that, should your home IP address change, the people with your URL will still be able to connect to it without worrying about IP address changes.

Requirements

Experience with command-line options/Terminal - You’ll be running various commands. You must know what cd, sudo, ruby, etc. do.
Linux – As mentioned above, you’ll need Linux, although you might be able to be used with Mac OS X, so please test this for us.
Port 443 & 53 forwarded – This is to be done with your router. Click here for port forwarding information. Other ports can be used by modifying siriAuth.rb.
An iPhone 4S – This is used to grab the Siri authorization keys. The person with the 4S doesn’t actually have to be near you. You can use any 4S over the Internet. These keys will need to be re-grabbed every 24 hours.
A jailbroken iOS 5.0.1 device – This is used for Spire .
Spire – Install this on the iOS 5.0.1 device that you want Siri to be used on.
Up to an hour worth of time – Depending on your skill level and problems that you may run into, you’ll need maybe an hour of time.
Patience – And the willingness to at least attempt to diagnose your own errors.

Downloads

SiriAuth -  The Siri server
AuthGrabber - The script that’s used to grab the Siri auth keys from a 4S, whether it be locally on your network or remotely

Get ready now to get into action! Follow the Step-By-Step guide below to create your own Siri Proxy Server!!
Step 1:

If you’re attempting to execute a .sh file, and Terminal is saying that the command is not found, then you’ll need to run the following:

sudo chmod +x [name_of_.sh_file]

After that, you should be able to run the .sh.
Step 2 : Getting the 4S Keys

Assuming you have an iPhone 4S, ports 53 & 443 forwarded, and Linux, all you have to do is run the follow command (after using cd to change the directory to where the AuthGrabber files are located)

./dependencies.sh

This will make sure that all of the other required bits of software are installed.

Next, you’ll need to generated the certificate file that has to be installed onto the iPhone 4S. To do this, run the following:

sudo ./certs.sh

Follow the on-screen prompts to generate your certificate. The information doesn’t have to be accurate, and can basically be whatever you want.

Note: This certificate is only required to be installed onto the device whenever the 4S auth keys are required. After they’re grabbed, you can remove the certificate, or just leave it installed as it causes no harm.

Next up, you’ll need to setup a small DNS server that’s used in Python. Refer to this link here. Copy and paste everything there into a blank plain-text file. Search for “555.555.555.555″. Replace this with the IP address of the machine (if you’re doing it locally), or your actually Internet IP address (if the 4S is remote). Save this file as “dns.py” to the same directory as the other AuthGrabber files.

To run the DNS server, run this command:

sudo python dns.py

After that, you should see something like this:

Fake DNS Server:: dom.query. 60 IN A 555.555.555.555

If you get an error that says an address is already in use, then run the following, and then try the Python command again. But, if this doesn’t work, then something else is using port 53, and you’ll need to figure out what process is using it:

sudo killall dnsmasq

Before you start the server, you’re going to need a few more files. Download the following ZIP file from here, and extract the two files within to your AuthGrabber directory.

While the server is running, open up a new Terminal window, change the directory back to the AuthGrabber folder, and run the following:

sudo ruby authGrabber.rb > OUTPUT.txt

This will start authGrabber.rb, and will output the grabbed keys into OUTPUT.txt. Both the DNS server and authGrabber server are running. On the 4S, you’ll need to change its Wi-Fi DNS to your IP address, whether it be local or remote. This can be done in Settings>Wi-Fi>[blue arrow for your Wi-Fi network]>DNS. Make sure to go back a menu and exit out of Settings for it to work.

Lastly, on the 4S, try and bring up Siri. As soon as this is done, you’ll see text fly by in your Terminal window. Open up OUTPUT.txt to see if anything is inside. If you see various keys and whatnot, then you’re done. You can now kill the DNS server by CTRL+C’ing the appropriate Terminal window.

If you need to grab the keys, just start the DNS server, start the authGrabber server, give the 4S your certificate, and give it your IP address for them to change their Wi-Fi DNS to.
Step 3 : Starting Your Siri Proxy Server

Starting the Siri proxy server is similar to starting the authGrabber server above.

After changing Terminal’s directory to the SiriAuth folder, run the following command:

./dependencies.sh

This makes sure that all the required bits of software are all installed.

Next, you’ll need to generated the certificate file that has to be installed onto the jailbroken Spire device. To do this, run the following:

sudo ./certs.sh

Follow the on-screen prompts to generate your certificate. The information doesn’t have to be accurate, and can basically be whatever you want. The only part that needs real information is when it asks you for the IP address of your server, whether it be a local IP, your Internet IP, or a URL of a DynDNS sort of thing.

Note: This certificate is required to use Siri, and will not work if it’s removed.

Next, you’ll need to edit siriAuth.rb with the keys that were grabbed earlier. Open the file with a text editor (most likely gedit), as well as the OUTPUT.txt file that was made earlier. There are 4 things that need to be copied:

    XAceHostKey
ValidationDataKey (the large batch of data)
    AssistantIDKey
    SpeechIDKey

From OUTPUT.txt, copy the appropriate key into siriAuth.key. The place to copy them to is near the beginning of the file. Make sure to copy the key between the quotes, and paste them between the quotes, respectively. Save the file when done.

To start the server (the fun part), simply run the following:

sudo ruby start.rb

It’ll say the following if the server has been successfully started:

Server started
Selected X-Ace Host: [redacted]
Selected assistantId: [redacted]
Selected speechId: [redacted]
Selected ValidationData: [redacted]

Step 4 : Setting Up Spire

This part is simple.

Go into Settings, and then Spire. In the box, enter in the URL or IP address of your server, after http://. You may need to add https:// for it to work.  After it’s set, go back to the main menu in Settings, and go to General > Siri. Make sure that you turn it on. After it’s been turned on, respring your device.

Test to see that this is working by bringing up Siri (or Siri’s dictation feature). If it is, you’ll see a lot of text scrolling through the Terminal window for siriAuth.

You are Done!!!

That’s all there is to do! If everything went correctly, your server should be working!

CoreSiri

Hey all,

I just stumbled upon the next version of siri for jailbroken iPhones after Spire.
It's called CoreSiri.
As per the reports,c0resiri is able to connect directly with the Apple server. It can also use other Siri tweaks and it should run faster than the previous Siri ports.

Currently the project is on testing and hopefully it's going to get released in a months time.

Let's all keep our fingers crossed.

It has also been reported that the iPhone 4S jailbreak will be out in 2-3 weeks.

So new year brings a lot of good things to Apple fans.

Cheers....
